Aesop Rock - Labor Days

Aesop Rock is a hip hop artist from New York. Generally darker type of hip hop and certainly not the crap you hear on the radio. Labor Days is a great album with some fantastic beats and even better rhymes and lyrics. Aesop's style is very complex and uses a lot of metaphors and personification. Many of his rhymes are subjective and open to interpretation, but he definitely isn't just babbling on. The album seems to be most about hardships of life and the day to day struggle to keep living. Standout songs are "Daylight", "No Regrets" and "Labor".
