Bread And Water - S/T

Bread And Water jams out from Dallas, Texas. Bread And Water uses male/female dual vocals, which is nice because both voices are very unique sounds. Female vocals shy away from Nausea/antischism sounds and are lower in pitch. Chords are fast and use some non-traditional punk chords, creating a heavier sound, which goes well. Drums are good, bass is good. Topics differ slightly from other punk bands too, from questioning why nudity is insulting to bad labor conditions and protesting drug war. This album seems to be more melodic than their other albums, but their other tunes are more towards traditional hardcore punk. Good band to check out.
