Govinda's Vegetarian Restaruant

Govinda's is a Philadelphia vegetarian/vegan eatery. It's located on 1408 South Street, which is South and Broad. All of the food here is vegetarian and most if not all can be made into vegan. I'd say they are most known for their chicken cheese steaks. While a little on the pricier side, the food there is phenomenal and really fills you up. I had gotten the chicken cheese steak with vegan cheese. It was definitely some of the best substitute I have ever had. It tasted almost like a legitimate chicken cheese steak. My friend got the vegetarian ham sandwich, and even though he was not a vegetarian, he said it tasted very good. If you have a little extra money around South Street and are hungry, give Govinda's a go.
